The deadline for all applications is January 31, 2026
Purpose
The purpose of this award is to encourage and spotlight well-rounded students from elementary through high school in areas of academics and aptitude. Students will be recognized for demonstrating leadership and having involvement in clubs, sports, performing arts, community services or projects, and extracurricular activities.
Top 10 students in elementary
Top 10 students in middle school
Top 10 students in high school
Requirements
Students must be in grades K-12 for the school year 2025-2026
Complete the application form
Submit 1st and 2nd semester report cards of the previous school year 2024-2025 and up to the 1st semester of the current school year 2025-2026
Submit pictures of awards, certificates, and/or any recognition
Announcements of Winners
The committee will be notifying parents of selected students from elementary, middle, and high schools by phone and email on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Recipients will be awarded a medal, a certificate, and lucky money of $50 at the Morrow Lunar New Year Event. The recipient must be present to receive the award.

This award aims to encourage students to express creativity through writing. The contest is open to K-12 students. A winner will be selected and receive $100 lucky money on stage. The newly updated grand prize is $1,000. The recipient must be present to receive the award.
